Case Study: Introduction

In the heart of Montana, a place known for its stunning natural landscapes and a predominantly white population, a unique opportunity for diversity and inclusion presented itself in a classroom. A young black student, Ahmed, recently arrived from Sudan, found himself in a new environment where over 90% of his classmates were white. Ahmed’s arrival was not only an adjustment for him but also a challenge and an opportunity for his teacher, Mrs. Johnson, to demonstrate how embracing diversity can enrich the educational experience for all students.
